The first activity you’ll want to do at La Villa de Chateau is to do very little! Take some time to take it easy, soaking up the sun by your private pool, perhaps a long, lazy breakfast or lunch at the hotel’s poolside restaurant, with the scent of flowers in the air.
Once recharged and refreshed, Cannes, with its world-class shopping and restaurants awaits. Attend the annual Film Festival, or one of the other many exhibitions and conferences held at the Palais de Festivals et des Congres. The Museum des Castres displays a stunning selection of artworks, as well as spectacular views over Cannes from this old castle.
Further afield, the Lerins Islands just off Cannes were home for 11 years to the “Man in the Iron Mask” and now house the Museum de la Mer, as well as the Cistercian Monastery on Ile St Honorat.
Cannes is also a great base for exploring the wonders of Provence, its Roman ruins, lavender, olive trees and wonderful towns and villages. Ask us for recommendations of what to see.
